I am here! Long story short, don't trust airlines. They get delays, and then they have to reroute you... Then they lose your luggage and can't tell you where it is. Ooh, fun.
I have found a wireless connection that I can connect to in the apartment I am staying at, but it wasn't here yesterday. So I don't know what's up with it.
The person I am staying with is a bit odd, but I might be getting used to it. Now, if only I can get a key to this place... I think she was waiting for me to ask about it before going out to make another set of keys. Nice, eh? And I have had two different versions of chicken noodle soup the last two nights. That's definitely better than pea slush, hehe. And I had a nice little conversation with her about spanish films :-).
I start classes tomorrow. I wasn't placed in as high of a level as I think I am at... but for some reason I keep inserting random french words into my speech. They need to get separated in my mind. But it will happen. Until then, I will be thankful that hopefully my class will be easy. I just think that it is odd that for me, this class will transfer as an upper level Spanish class, and for a couple of the other people it will transfer as a 102 class. But all of our classes had to be put in the morning time slot, and that greatly reduced the number of classes the majority of us were allowed to take.
So, that's it for now. Pictures coming soon! (I hope). But currently I am too preoccupied with certain other things, like getting my luggage!
